Denver’s Ramble Hotel – A City Wedding

Denver Ramble Hotel Wedding

Suzy & Kenzie had their Denver Ramble Hotel wedding on a perfect early spring day. Any chance I get to be at the Ramble Hotel is happy for me but photographing Suzy & Kenzie’s wedding was extra special. These two were best friends for a long time before they realized they were in love with each other but the moment that realization happened they never looked back. They had their ceremony and cocktail hour on the outdoor patio with the “Wish You Were Here” sign behind them.

The Ramble Hotel is known for their gorgeous cocktails and moody and classic aesthetic. The entire hotel really blends art & design to create a dark academia vibe & it’s always so fun to see how people envision their wedding day. As a LGBTQ wedding photographer in Denver I am pretty cautious about the venues & vendors I work with. The Ramble Hotel has been home to many queer weddings and thus far gets my stamp of approval. Y’all, we can bring the 90’s fashion back but please, let’s leave the homophobia & transphobia in the past. I am so proud to work with queer couples & will forever ensure I am a safe space for all of my couples.

These two had the BEST dance floor, the best toasts. So many tears, so many smiles. SUCH GREAT MUSIC! Toasts have become such a soft spot for me. I love toasts. Hearing the way loved ones share their care is truly such a special part of a wedding day. As someone who isn’t much of a dancer, the dance party somehow has become one of my favorite parts of a wedding day because I can just float around and document all the fun happening while loudly singing and laughing and having fun.
