Dillon Elopement Photographer

Alex & Lauren got married on top of the world on a typical Colorado summer day in 2020. This of course means we were (are) in a global pandemic and that they had decided to elope in Colorado rather than have the large wedding they had contemplated.

They eventually decided to elope in the Colorado mountains and sought a Dillon elopement photographer. Once they had their plan in place they decided it would be just the two of them. With just their officiant & me to witness their vows their words just seemed bigger in this beautiful landscape. Colorado is known for our mountains and dang if they don’t deliver. I always count myself so lucky when I get to photograph love in this beautiful landscape.

Being a typical Colorado summer day also means that we had brilliant weather right up until the beginning of their ceremony. A rain cloud was passing overhead and as we began their ceremony the rain started to drizzle and remained that way right up until the end. Then it rained these tiny, harsh droplets and the wind whipped us around until we decided to call it quits for a few in hopes of the weather passing. The moment we got back to the cars we were greeted with the most brilliant rainbow. What a wild wedding story to share with your friends and family, though.
