Rose Garden Elopement- Littleton Photographer
Jalisca & Patrick had to cancel their larger wedding due to the worldwide Covid pandemic that we all found ourselves in 2020. They choose to instead have a rose garden elopement at the Littleton war memorial rose garden with just their closest family members in attendance. It was an incredible afternoon- we had been having summer storms in the afternoons frequently and their wedding day was no different. The stormy skies made for some incredible drama & light and as we wrapped everything up the rain greeted us.
I absolutely adored photographing Jalisca & Patrick’s vows to each other. They self officiated (Colorado is so cool!) with vows they wrote for each other and it was such a beautiful ceremony. I think that Covid concerns have allowed us all to really take account of what’s important to us and watching so many love stories persevere through such a hard time in our history has given me a lot of hope.
