Lakewood Family Photographer – Belmar Park

Earlier this fall I met up with this sweet little family first at their home and then at their favorite park. Mama painted a gorgeous mural on the nursery wall and I loved getting to photograph them there first for a unique personal touch to their session. She also told me their favorite park is Belmar Park and that happens to be a very heart happy place for me as I grew up just down the road. Growing up in the area makes being a Lakewood family photographer really special in a lot of ways. I have a lot of childhood memories at that park and love it every time someone chooses it as their location. Babe’s grandma was visiting for the first time as well and I loved getting to include her in the session especially since she lives out of state.

I do so many in home family sessions and this gives each session it’s own personal feel. Using locations that have personal relevance means that your photos will have an extra touch of nostalgia down the road. I absolutely love it when my clients choose places that have real meaning to them.
