Sapphire Point – A Colorado Elopement

A few months ago I met Paxton & Taylor for their Colorado elopement at Sapphire Point. Both Paxton & Taylor are originally from Texas but have been living in Colorado while Paxton finished up her degree and they decided to go ahead and elope in Colorado and have a big party back at home with their friends and family. Surrounded by their closest family members, they had an emotional and happy ceremony with one of my favorite backdrops in Colorado. We then ventured down to Lake Dillion to complete their portrait session and it was honestly pretty magical. The light, the love, the mountains. This is why Colorado still gets my heart, and why I really really love photographing elopements for couples who are so deeply in love.
