Denver Courthouse Wedding – Denver Elopement Photographer
Just before the New Years Luke & Sarah drove up to Denver from Albuquerque. They hired me as their Denver elopement photographer and we got to spend the day rompin around some iconic Denver areas for their portraits. Their officiant was a delightful Justice of The Peace and they were witnessed by their best friends, one of them coming to Denver all the way from the UK and the others driving up from New Mexico. I loved getting to spend the day with these two. Sarah has impeccable style… the red shoes, the horse hair coat owned by Luke’s mother, the hair! Luke’s stellar suit looked incredible on him and the browns and the deep reds were perfect for a their winter Denver courthouse elopement. What a gorgeous couple with so much love between them.

I think the best part about being a Denver elopement photographer is that people LOVE to yell congratulations or well wishes as they drive or walk by and it adds so much to the energy of the day. It feels so intimate but also like the entire city somehow is there to cheer you on.
The weather was unseasonably warm and had us wishing for some snow but the blue skies were beautiful all day and we were so glad to not have to dodge snow drifts or puddles as we walked Denver. We ventured to the Denver Capitol Building, the Denver Art Museum & to the gorgeous and timeless Brown Palace. Their I do’s may have been short and simple but their love is not and I think that’s one of the best parts of elopements!
