Disco Wedding – A Buena Vista Celebration

Sammy & Andrew’s Buena Vista wedding was filled with COLOR & Disco and had one of the best dance floors I’ve ever gotten to photograph. Such beautiful people in such a beautiful place in one of Colorado’s best mountain towns. The Surf Hotel is always a favorite venue for me and I’m lucky enough to get to photograph there often and it’s always a special treat to get Mt Princeton as a ceremony backdrop at their Meadows location. Surf Hotel weddings are known for elegance and fun and Sammy & Andrew fit that to a T.

Sammy & Andrew described themselves as a couple who love to laugh together & they were so excited to spend the entire day laughing with their favorite people. Sammy described Andrew as thoughtful and somebody who welcomes everyone and put people at ease. Andrew described Sammy as compassionate – she sees the finer details in others and she cares deeply.

Filled with pinks, greens & oranges their wedding day had a 70’s disco vibe and Sammy invited guests to “upstage the bride” in their fashion. It is so much fun to photograph guest outfits! They had disco balls throughout and even had a disco helmet being passed around the dance floor. Their parents gave incredible toasts & Sammy’s siblings we such important parts of the day. Even their cutie dog Davey joined them for some photos & they had giant dance floor props of his face. Y’all know I love dogs being involved in nearly everything 🙂

What a fantastic place to experience a Colorado. A Buena Vista wedding truly worthy of writing home about.
